SISTERHOOD MENTAL HEALTH COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

Mental Health among our youth is EXTREMLY important. According to World Health Organization approximately 15%–20% of children and adolescents are suffering from some form of mental health disorder. Furthermore, 70% of mental health disorders onset prior to the age of 25, making the adolescent years a critical window in which mental health can be promoted, and mental health problems can be addressed.

Pretty Me Inc. is dedicated to instilling respect, structure, morals, self-worth, and values in today's youth, PMI conducts bi-weekly group meetings and organizes various outings and events, aiming to empower and support the mind, body, and spirit of young women. We are a dedicated mental health-focused organization committed to fostering well-being, resilience, and emotional flourishing in individuals. We strive to create a compassionate and inclusive community where mental health is not only prioritized but celebrated as an integral part of overall well-being.

Mental Health

A LOOK INTO OUR PROGRAMS

PMI Girls (12yr-17yr)

PMI girls meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month for our in-person group mentoring sessions. The sessions include a structured curriculum, activities and mental health focused exercises. In addition, mentees are paired with a mentor for the duration of their membership. We also engage in field trips and community engagement.

Young Adults (18yr-22yr)

Our young adults meet virtually as a group twice per month. Our goal is to provide tips, tools and resources to aide them in the real world, and the workforce as well as continued personal and mental health support.

PMI Reach (All Students)

PMI REACH is our in-school afterschool based mentoring program open to all students. We believe in reaching youth on all levels. Each week we partake in group discussions, activities, mental health elevation and tips.

PMI DAD's

PMI Dads was chartered on March 20, 2024, an extended branch of the Pretty Me Inc family. We focus on fostering greatness within our daughters, nurturing them to be the best version of themselves from an emotional, social, and nurturing standpoint. We believe that by creating a "pretty" package on the inside, we can help our daughters radiate positivity on the outside. PMI Dads also offers a safe space for dads to fellowship.
